The Nursery at Bengeworth CE Academy warmly welcomes children from the age of 3 years old and provides childcare Monday to Friday from 7.45am - 6pm during term-time only.

Most children aged 3 or over will be entitled to Early Years Education Entitlement Funding (15hr funding), beginning from the start of the term after their 3rd birthday, and you may be eligible for an additional 15 hours funding making 30 funded hours each week in total.

15 or 30 hour funding can be used to pay for sessions your child attends. Our lunchtime session and Wraparound Care are charged separately. 

Children aged 3 who start in the term of their 3rd birthday will be charged for sessions they attend. Please note children can not start Nursery until they have celebrated their 3rd birthday. 

Sessions at The Nursery are booked in 3 hour blocks and cost £21 per block. Funded hours at The Nursery must be used in continuous blocks with no artificial breaks, meaning our funded hours now run between the hours of 8:30am - 2:30pm.

Lunch at The Nursery

For children accessing 6 hours of childcare per day in one continuous block or for children accessing a PM session, you have the option for us to provide a two-course meal, cooked and served by our wonderful Kitchen Team, in the comfort of the nursery. Your child will be able to choose their own food, supported and encouraged by our team to try and explore new options, at a cost of £2.70 per day. Alternatively, you are welcome to provide your child with a healthy packed lunch from home if you prefer.
